Since 2002, I have operated a sole proprietorship that is located in Chicago, Illinois. I started my business as a fundraising consultant for social service organizations. My work included writing fundraising materials, providing education about fundraising, and giving advice about fundraising strategies. In 2003, I expanded my business to include writing and editing marketing materials and other business-related materials for associations and for-profit businesses. Today, I provide writing and editing services for micro businesses, professional service providers, health care practitioners, and individuals.

My mission is to use writing, research, communication, organizational, and analytical skills to help businesses, consultants, entrepreneurs, and individuals create the written communication that helps them achieve success.

Education and Experience
I have a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Marketing from Eastern Illinois University and a Master of Arts in Sociology from the University of Illinois – Chicago Campus.
With fifteen years of business writing experience, I have written, edited, and proofread marketing and fundraising materials such as articles, brochures, concept papers, direct mail appeals, instructional information, letters, newsletters, proposals, reports, sales letters, social survey questionnaires, test questions, and website content.
