About Katherine Williams  Business Information Since 2002, I have operated a sole proprietorship that is located in Chicago, Illinois. I started my business as a fundraising consultant for social service organizations.  My work included writing fundraising materials, providing education about fundraising, and giving advice about fundraising strategies.  In 2003, I expanded my business to include writing and editing marketing materials and other business-related materials for associations and for-profit businesses.  Today, I provide writing, editing, and research services for manufacturing companies, non-profit organizations, retailers, consultants, entrepreneurs, health care providers, professional service providers, and individuals. With fifteen years of business writing experience, I have written, edited, and proofread marketing and fundraising materials such as articles, brochures, concept papers, direct mail appeals, instructional information, letters, newsletters, proposals, reports, sales letters, social survey questionnaires, test questions, and website content.
